Responsibilities
- Market Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze daily equity options flow and volume data to identify emerging market trends and patterns.
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Utilize SQL and Python to scrub, organize, and structure massive datasets for accurate reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau to visualize complex financial metrics for senior analysts.
- Reporting Support: Generate weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting key volatility indicators and option pricing anomalies.
- Collaborative Research: Partner with senior traders to understand specific data requirements and refine analytical models.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all data inputs are accurate and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL and basic proficiency in Python or R is highly preferred.
- Tools: Comfortable working with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in data sets and a rigorous approach to quality control.
