Responsibilities
- Analyze and process high-frequency equity options market data using SQL and Python
- Develop automated reports for volatility surfaces and implied skew trends
- Support quantitative research teams by cleaning and normalizing option chain datasets
- Monitor and validate option pricing models against market benchmarks
- Collaborate with traders to document market anomalies and unusual trading patterns
- Create visual dashboards for risk exposure metrics using Tableau
- Assist in backtesting options trading strategies using historical data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation
- Familiarity with options pricing fundamentals (Black-Scholes, binomial models)
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts (regression, hypothesis testing)
- Experience with financial APIs (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) or market data feeds
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and data visualization tools preferred
