Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate equity options market data from multiple sources including exchanges and proprietary feeds
- Monitor options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and identify pricing discrepancies
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL and Python for real-time options analytics
- Create visualizations and reports on volatility surfaces, Greeks, and trading volume patterns
- Support backtesting of options trading strategies using statistical analysis tools
- Collaborate with traders to interpret market sentiment and identify arbitrage opportunities
- Document data methodologies and maintain quality control standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 0-2 years of experience with financial data analysis or internship in trading/finance
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and relational database management
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for statistical analysis
- Familiarity with options terminology (calls/puts, strikes, expiration, volatility)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib)
- Detail-oriented mindset with ability to work under market pressure
- Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and time-series analysis
