As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in interpreting complex data sets to support strategic decision-making for our diverse client base across the government and private sectors.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting: Create clear, professional reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.
- Support: Assist in the maintenance of the company’s data infrastructure and support ad-hoc analytical requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is required. Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Remote Work: Self-motivated and disciplined individual capable of working effectively in a remote environment.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Candidates in Washington DC or Ohio are preferred).
