As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will be the bridge between our business stakeholders and our data. You will help us uncover trends, optimize processes, and drive strategic decisions. Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and interactive dashboards (using Tableau or Power BI) to present key performance indicators (KPIs) to non-technical stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to support business strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and querying relational databases using SQL to retrieve necessary information efficiently.
- Documentation: Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a plus; familiarity with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data quality and interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a diverse audience.
- Soft Skills: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
