As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large complex data sets. You will work closely with our senior team to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that drive our business strategy. Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, Excel spreadsheets) and ensure the data is clean, accurate, and structured for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights that support business decision-making.
- Visualization: Create clear, compelling, and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reporting packages, summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress metrics for management.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to understand data needs and define metrics for success.
- Documentation: Document data pipelines, analysis processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (querying and database management) and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a broad audience.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated individual eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.
