As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will play a crucial role in interpreting complex datasets to help drive business strategy. You will work closely with senior analysts to develop your skills in data visualization, reporting, and statistical analysis. No prior professional experience is required; we value curiosity and a willingness to learn above all else.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, complete, and formatted correctly for analysis.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets to support decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of data sources, methodologies, and analysis procedures.
- Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of our data warehouse and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts) is mandatory.
- Desirable: Familiarity with SQL, Python, or Tableau is a plus but not required for the entry-level role.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Work Style: Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a remote work environment.
