Role Overview:
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients make informed decisions. You will work in a collaborative, remote environment where you will learn to manipulate data, generate insights, and create compelling visualizations.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and clean it to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders using Excel and BI tools.
- Dashboard Creation: Assist in building and maintaining interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Trend Analysis: Identify key business trends and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Support: Support the senior analytics team with ad-hoc data requests and research projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Math, Statistics, Economics, IT) or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time in a remote setting.
