Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.
- Dashboard Creation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of interactive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Documentation: Document data sources, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data queries.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine data quality checks and validate results against business expectations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value potential and a strong work ethic over a long resume.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) is required; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data accuracy and a logical problem-solving mindset.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
