Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity before analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop regular performance reports and executive summaries to support decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs.
- SQL & Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract necessary data from databases efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Programming: Basic understanding or exposure to Python or R is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to detect errors and ensure high-quality data output.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data to non-technical audiences.
