Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality input for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, visual reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Excel to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Business Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Database Management: Assist in querying databases using SQL to retrieve specific data sets efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of SQL and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to break down complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area.
