Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, complete, and formatted for analysis using SQL and Excel.
- Dashboard Creation: Assist in building interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports highlighting trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Support Analysis: Collaborate with the data science team to support ongoing research projects and market analysis.
- Database Maintenance: Perform routine checks on data integrity and help maintain our internal data warehouse systems.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise summaries for non-technical team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required. Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies in large datasets.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing data-driven solutions.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time in our Long Beach office.
