Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of equity option datasets from various market feeds.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and analyze financial data for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to identify trends and anomalies in option pricing.
- Create clear, visual dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly equity option performance reports.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and basic scripting (Python/R) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic equity market concepts and option terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
