Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends and business opportunities
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder presentations
- Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure accuracy for reporting and modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Develop automated reporting pipelines to streamline data delivery processes
- Present findings to leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Support ad-hoc analysis projects to address immediate business questions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in SQL with ability to write complex queries and optimize data retrieval
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data manipulation
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Portfolio demonstrating data analysis projects (school, personal, or volunteer)
