Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering, validating, and cleaning large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
- Database Support: Write SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and support the data engineering team with data governance tasks.
- Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and business development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and a fundamental understanding of SQL.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and basic scripting.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot trends and outliers in complex datasets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
- Soft Skills: A strong desire to learn, adaptability, and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
