Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential incidents using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing security controls and best practices across cloud/on-premise environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and remediation actions in compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain security policies and procedures
- Participate in incident response drills and security awareness campaigns
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a US citizen or have legal work authorization
- CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
