Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools.
- Assist in the detection and response to potential cyber threats and intrusions.
- Perform routine vulnerability assessments and configure basic security controls.
- Document security incidents, logs, and compliance activities accurately.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to implement and maintain security policies.
- Support the deployment of patches and updates to secure enterprise systems.
- Conduct basic research on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (we support training costs).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential night shifts during onboarding.
