Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial applications and trading systems
- Assist in implementing zero-trust architecture for sensitive trading environments
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response procedures
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC/FINRA regulations
- Participate in penetration testing of equity options infrastructure
- Develop security awareness training for trading desk personnel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiarity with financial industry compliance standards (SOX, GDPR)
- Basic knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Burp Suite)
- Understanding of equity options trading concepts a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
