Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity
- Assist in incident response and remediation of security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under guidance
- Document security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with SOC team to implement security controls
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies
- Participate in security awareness training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and security principles
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
