Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms to identify potential breaches.
- Perform log analysis and correlation to investigate suspicious activities.
- Assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities and patch management processes.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of security documentation and playbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
- Participate in red team/blue team exercises to sharpen defensive skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Eagerness to obtain industry-recognized certifications such as Security+ or Network+.
- Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
