Responsibilities
- Network Monitoring: Observe network traffic and security systems 24/7 to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Incident Support: Assist senior analysts in triaging security alerts, analyzing logs, and resolving minor security incidents.
- Threat Assessment: Perform basic vulnerability scans and risk assessments to identify weak points in our security posture.
- User Security Training: Educate company employees on phishing awareness and security best practices to reduce human error.
- System Maintenance: Help maintain and update security software, firewalls, and antivirus tools across the network.
- Compliance Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports for internal security audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
