Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for potential security threats and anomalies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to and document security incidents, alerts, and threats in the SIEM platform.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to improve overall security posture and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certification preferred: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
