Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Assist in the investigation and triage of potential security incidents and threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and software/firmware patching support.
- Document security findings, incidents, and audit trails accurately.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement security controls.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and networking fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and scripting (Python/Bash preferred).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
