Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and dashboards for real-time alerts and anomalies.
- Analyze security logs and event data to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Document security incidents and assist in the incident response process.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and patch management tasks.
- Support internal security awareness training and user support.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network compliance and security standards.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of security appliances (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent military/IT experience).
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, hacking, and network security concepts.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to relocate to Phoenix, AZ (Relocation assistance provided).
- Problem-solving mindset and a desire to learn new technologies continuously.
