Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of firewall and endpoint protection.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed audit trails.
- Support compliance efforts related to GDPR, HIPAA, or internal policies.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- CompTIA Security+ or Network+ certification preferred (or willing to study).
- Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
