Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM dashboards for potential threats and anomalies.
- Assist in the triage and logging of security incidents and alerts.
- Perform basic network reconnaissance and vulnerability scanning.
- Document security events and incident reports in accordance with compliance standards.
- Support the implementation of security patches and updates.
- Conduct basic security awareness training for team members.
- Research emerging threats and security trends to improve organizational defenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interest in network security, ethical hacking, or information assurance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic command-line interfaces (Linux/Windows).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
