Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for security alerts and suspicious activities
- Document and escalate security incidents following established protocols
- Analyze network traffic using Wireshark and other diagnostic tools
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration test preparation
- Contribute to security awareness campaigns and policy documentation
- Participate in tabletop exercises and incident response simulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving threats
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification (training provided)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic command-line tools
