Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze logs from SIEM systems to identify potential threats to equity option platforms.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to security incidents and participate in post-incident analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with trading operations to ensure compliance with financial cybersecurity regulations.
- Document security protocols and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats in the fintech sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line interfaces.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Willingness to obtain relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+) within 12 months.
