Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents within our equity options trading systems and network infrastructure.
- Assist in the configuration and management of SIEM tools to detect anomalies in financial data traffic.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support on internal applications.
- Document security incidents and contribute to the development of incident response playbooks for financial sectors.
- Support compliance audits related to SEC regulations and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- CompTIA Security+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred for entry-level candidates.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, networking fundamentals, and basic scripting (Python/Bash).
- Eagerness to learn about financial markets, derivatives, and equity options trading mechanisms.
