Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools for equity options trading systems
- Assess vulnerabilities in financial applications and recommend remediation strategies
- Assist in implementing security controls for options trading platforms
- Conduct incident response drills and assist with breach investigations
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with developers to integrate security best practices into trading systems
- Stay updated on emerging threats specific to financial markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of network security principles (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and security tools
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SEC/FINRA) preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced financial environment
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH) a plus
