Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity trading systems and options platforms using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing security controls for financial data encryption and access management
- Participate in vulnerability assessments of trading applications and market data feeds
- Document security incidents and coordinate remediation with development teams
- Stay current on emerging threats specific to financial markets and options trading
- Support compliance audits for FINRA, SEC, and PCI DSS requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Fundamental knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and threat intelligence
- Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Understanding of financial markets and trading systems concepts
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
