Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and ArcSight SIEM platforms
- Investigate security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Document incident reports and remediation actions in SOAR platforms
- Perform vulnerability scans using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Assist with PCI-DSS and NIST compliance audits
- Participate in tabletop exercises for incident response protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP Associate certification preferred
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Knowledge of common attack vectors (phishing, malware, ransomware)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
