Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) dashboards for anomalous activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Assist with security policy implementation and audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
- Generate incident response reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems
- Understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or academic experience
