Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Assist in incident response and digital forensics investigations
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations and access controls
- Document security protocols and compliance reports
- Participate in threat intelligence analysis and threat hunting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to work independently and in remote team environments
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
