Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity
- Assist in incident response procedures and forensic investigations
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop security awareness materials for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Document security policies and procedures following NIST guidelines
- Participate in threat intelligence analysis and security audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
