Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Investigate security incidents using forensic analysis tools
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under guidance
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Document security procedures and incident response reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security compliance initiatives
- Participate in security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced security operations environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
