Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Investigate security incidents and document forensic findings
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security controls and access management protocols
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security infrastructure deployments
- Stay current with emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Familiarity with network security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
