Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response protocols
- Participate in security awareness training campaigns for employees
- Collaborate with senior analysts on security architecture improvements
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence reports
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
