Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Document and escalate security incidents following NIST guidelines
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing support
- Analyze network traffic for suspicious activity patterns
- Generate security incident reports for stakeholders
- Assist with security policy implementation and audits
- Participate in tabletop exercises and threat hunting drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Pass background investigation and drug screen
