Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and analyze alerts
- Document and investigate cybersecurity incidents using NIST frameworks
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
- Implement security controls and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Conduct threat intelligence research and create security awareness materials
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Basic understanding of cloud security concepts (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in rotating shift schedules
