Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and support forensic analysis
- Implement security controls based on NIST and ISO frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies
- Participate in tabletop exercises for threat scenario simulation
- Support the rollout of security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, etc.) preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications within 6 months
- U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain government clearance
