Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing under supervision
- Document security incidents and participate in incident response drills
- Implement basic firewall configurations and access control policies
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
- Assist with compliance audits and regulatory documentation
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP Associate) preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
