Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential cyber incidents using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls for cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing under senior guidance
- Document security procedures and incident response reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Participate in 24/7 security operations center rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; cybersecurity certifications a plus
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to obtain Security+ or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
