Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and assist with forensic investigations
- Collaborate with SOC analysts on incident response protocols
- Complete foundational training modules to achieve Security+ certification
- Conduct regular system patching and compliance checks
- Assist with user security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
