Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Analyze malware samples and document security incident reports
- Assist in developing incident response playbooks and security policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and networking concepts
- Basic knowledge of security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
