Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and methodologies
- Implement vulnerability scans and patch management procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security protocols and best practices
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance reporting
- Assist in penetration testing and security assessments
- Stay updated on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or pursuing)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during incidents
