Responsibilities
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain) and develop actionable 5-year implementation roadmaps
- Architect next-gen solutions for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare and logistics sectors
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused technology trials
- Pioneer patent-pending systems for autonomous infrastructure optimization
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor a team of 12 engineers in cutting-edge prototyping methodologies
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proven track record shipping commercialized AI/quantum systems
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, or similar innovation hubs
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain government contracts
