Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analytics & Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards (using tools like Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and operational inefficiencies.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract specific data sets and maintain database integrity.
- Forecasting: Collaborate with management to create financial and operational forecasts based on historical data analysis.
- Communication: Present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent work experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Strongly preferred), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excel Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Colorado Springs office or adhere to hybrid requirements.
