Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform complex data sets from various sources using SQL and Python to ensure data integrity for reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis and trend forecasting to identify business opportunities and operational inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in New York and globally to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.
- Create comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting anomalies and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain data warehouse documentation and optimize ETL processes for improved query performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with specific experience in weekend shift environments preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Expert knowledge of BI tools, specifically Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
