Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract data and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present complex findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and operational inefficiencies.
- Weekend Operations Support: Manage data workflows and generate weekly reports specifically tailored to weekend business performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas/NumPy).
- Tools: Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
